Maruti Suzuki India is now looking to launch the facelift version of the crossover. Anticipated to launch in India by Q4 next year, the facelift model was exhibited at 2016 Paris Motor Show. Maruti Suzuki new S-Cross will continue to sport the same set of engines – 1.3-litre diesel and 1.6-litre diesel.
Under the hood, you will have two engine options – the 1.3-litre and the 1.6-litre diesel engine. Both are 4-cylinder turbocharged Multijet units outcomes 89bhp/200Nm and 120bhp/320Nm of power respectively. While the 1.3-litre comes with a five-speed manual, the 1.6-litre gets a 6-speed transmission system. It does not get a 4-wheel drive or a petrol variant for the Indian market.
