The lightweight and powerful quarter-litre motorcycle is jointly developed by Hero Motocorp, America’s Eric Buell Racing (EBR), AVL (Austria) and Engines Engineering.About the design front, the Hero HX250R is a bit stunner with twin-headlights, large windscreen and under seat exhaust. The look of it is a geodesic tubular chassis and a beautiful trellis shaped swingarm.
The Hero HX250R is the most powerful bike from the company’s stable,having a 249cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which will churn out 31PS of peak power . It have a torque rating of 26Nm.
It is the first Hero motorcycle offering to sport a six-speed transmission. It has a weight of 139kg, the Hero HX250R has an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 223PS/ton. Expected price is INR. 150000.
